Note: Puppies’ nutritional requirements are at their highest during the growth phase, particularly between 3 and 6 months of age, when they need plenty of energy and nutrients to support their rapid development. Energy requirements begin to stabilise at around 7–12 months of age, but puppies still need more nutrition than adult dogs.
