Feeding instructions
Recommended feeding period (combined with rice or potatoes) is 4 weeks. If symptoms of intolerance disappear, add Trovet Balance (vitamin and mineral supplement) to the daily portion. For critically ill, growing, late-pregnancy, and lactating animals, it is advisable to use a vitamin and mineral supplement from the start, along with the carbohydrate source. Once symptoms of intolerance have resolved, the food can be offered for life, combined with a carbohydrate source and vitamin and mineral supplement. Alternatively, it is recommended to switch to hypoallergenic complete food with a similar protein source (horse).
