When feeding Selective for the first time, introduce it gradually over 10–14 days. Start by mixing a small amount with your rabbit’s current food, then gradually increase the proportion while reducing the old feed. A sudden change of diet may cause digestive upsets, so it is best done slowly.
If your rabbit is used to a diet high in sugar, adjustment to a new, sugar-free complete feed may take a little longer – but patience will be rewarded with better wellbeing.
An average adult rabbit (around 2.5 kg) requires 60–70 g of Supreme Selective Rabbit Four+ daily. In addition to complete feed, rabbits should be given fresh hay daily according to body size, along with small portions of fresh vegetables. Ensure that your pet always has access to clean, fresh drinking water.
